Induction Heating
Clamp Coils
Pipe-coating clamp coils are designed for heating pipe joints after
welding. Their lightweight and rugged mechanical design allows fast
and easy use even under demanding working conditions. About electrical
design, special emphasis has been put in assuring the best heating
uniformity
possible while the special insulating material of the frame avoids
self-heating of the coil itself.
The standard mechanical clamp contact closure is by means of mechanical
handle, but different systems are available on demand. Every clamp
coil is designed and built on bespoke to customer specifications,
according to pipe diameter, coating thickness and joint length
Ring Coils
Welding-preheating ring coils are designed for use on pipe sections
before welding. Their lightweight and rugged mechanical design allows
fast and easy use even under demanding working conditions. About electrical
design, special emphasis has been put in assuring the best heating
efficiency possible, while minimizing residual magnetization of the
pipe, which is an unwanted and detrimental side effect of induction
heating. Residual magnetization causes arc deflection during welding,
in some cases inhibiting the welding process completely.
